Sage is expanding its executive roster with a double C-suite recruitment designed to accelerate its global corporate strategy and software footprint. The business technology firm recently announced the appointments of Krish Vitaldevara as Chief Product Officer and Anand Swaminathan as Chief Strategy Officer. Both executives are joining the organization’s executive leadership team at its San Jose office, with Vitaldevara already in his post and Swaminathan following during an upcoming transition on June 15, 2026.
The new hires bring extensive backgrounds in enterprise tech scale and advisory services from major industry players. Vitaldevara joins the company after serving as General Manager and Executive Vice President at Salesforce, a position he took following its acquisition of Informatica. His 25-year technical background includes senior positions at NetApp, Google, and Microsoft, alongside holding more than 30 patents. Swaminathan moved into corporate leadership after working as a senior partner at McKinsey, where he advised boards on technology-enabled growth, following a previous tenure scaling enterprise cloud and data capabilities at Accenture Digital.
At Sage, the two executives inherit mandates geared toward long-term value creation and platform evolution. Vitaldevara commands the global product and platform strategy, managing the innovation roadmap to deliver intelligent software solutions. Swaminathan is tasked with heading corporate strategy and scaling growth priorities across the company’s financial and HR divisions. Welcoming the duo, CEO Steve Hare stated that the appointments directly reflect the company’s “continued investment in innovation and growth” for its global customer base.
