The Board of WiseTech Global has appointed Zubin Appoo as permanent Chief Executive Officer, following an internal and external search. He succeeds Andrew Cartledge, who has served as Interim CEO since October 2024 and is set to retire at the end of 2025. Appoo, a proven technology leader with over 20 years of experience, played a key role in WiseTech’s growth between 2004 and 2018 and has since held senior leadership roles in various technology companies. He returned to WiseTech as Chief of Staff, working closely with leadership, development teams, customers, and investors to drive innovation and efficiency. “Zubin understands WiseTech’s DNA and ambition. With his return, we are confident in the strength of our leadership and their ability to drive long-term value for shareholders,” said Lead Independent Director Andrew Harrison.
Co-Founder and Executive Chair Richard White stated, “Zubin’s proven leadership skills, extensive background in technology and product development, and deep understanding of WiseTech, our culture, and the logistics industry make him uniquely qualified to lead.” Appoo expressed gratitude for the appointment, noting his long-standing belief in WiseTech and commitment since becoming a shareholder in 2005. He emphasized working with the Board and leadership team to drive growth and advance WiseTech’s vision in global trade and logistics.
