Varonis has announced the acquisition of AllTrue.ai, a company focused on AI Trust, Risk, and Security Management (AI TRiSM), as it moves to address growing security challenges created by the large-scale deployment of AI systems. The deal adds real-time visibility and control over AI models, copilots, and agents, complementing Varonis’ existing strengths in enterprise data, identity, and access security.
The combined platform is designed to help organizations identify AI assets, understand how they behave, and enforce safeguards as they operate. Varonis said the integration enables enterprises to monitor AI activity, limit access to critical data through least-privilege controls, and demonstrate accountability for governance and compliance requirements. AllTrue.ai’s capabilities include continuous discovery of AI systems, security posture management, runtime protection, detection and response, testing against common AI exploits, and built-in compliance reporting.
Leadership emphasized that AI risk ultimately stems from the data these systems can access. “Most AI security efforts focus on models and prompts, but the real value, and risk, of AI is related to the enterprise data AI can access,” said CEO and Co-Founder of AllTrue.ai, Ron Bennatan, whose prior companies were acquired by IBM and Imperva. According to Varonis Co-Founder and CEO Yaki Faitelson, the company is building a platform aimed at making AI use reliable, compliant, and secure as it becomes embedded in core business operations.
