UiPath has introduced a new purchase-to-pay solution to help finance teams reduce manual work and improve speed across procurement and accounts payable operations. The purpose-built agentic AI offering adds an execution layer on top of existing business systems such as ERP and CRM platforms, where fragmented workflows, incomplete data, and disconnected approvals often slow routine purchasing activity.
The new solution, expected to enter controlled general availability in the coming months, is designed to lower processing costs, shorten invoice cycle times, and improve visibility across the full purchase-to-pay process. UiPath said the system addresses common operational issues such as delayed approvals, supplier friction, compliance gaps, and lost opportunities to capture payment discounts. The platform combines AI agents, automation workflows, and orchestration tools to streamline both guided buying and invoice processing.
Using UiPath Intelligent Xtraction and Processing and coordinated workflows through Maestro, the solution can ingest invoices from multiple channels, match them to purchase orders, identify mismatches, and escalate only the exceptions that require human review. It can also route approvals to the right stakeholders through collaboration tools such as Slack and Microsoft Teams. Hitesh Ramani, Chief Accounting Officer and Deputy CFO at UiPath, said, “Finance leaders are under constant pressure to improve efficiency while maintaining strong financial controls.” He added that the offering will help teams “process transactions faster and focus more of their time on strategic, value-driven work.”
