Tricentis, a company specializing in AI-based continuous testing and quality engineering, has named Eran Sher as Chief Product Officer to lead its next phase of platform development. Sher, who brings over 25 years of experience in enterprise software and testing innovation, previously co-founded SeaLights, which was acquired by Tricentis in 2024. He also co-founded Nolio and held leadership roles at companies including Mercury Interactive and CA Technologies. Sher stated, “We’re at a pivotal moment in software development with AI redefining how code is written, tested, and released.” He will drive product strategy and innovation, focusing on accelerating AI integration across Tricentis’ offerings and advancing initiatives like Agentic Test Automation and the Model Context Protocol.
Sher will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align product goals with customer needs and industry trends. His priorities include delivering advanced testing tools, expanding partnerships, particularly in ERP environments, and co-developing solutions with enterprise clients. CEO Kevin Thompson commented, “Eran’s ability to turn theoretical ideas into practical application and customer-focused approach to product make him the natural fit to lead our exceptional team.” Sher’s appointment supports Tricentis’ broader strategic goals, including AI-driven product advancement and global expansion following recent investments and developments in Ireland and Latin America.
