Key Products

Phreesia offers a comprehensive suite of healthcare technology solutions designed to streamline operations, improve patient engagement and drive better clinical and financial outcomes for organizations across the care continuum. Built around a modern, patient-driven digital architecture, Phreesia’s products are organized into several core areas:

Patient Registration & Intake

Phreesia’s Patient Registration & Intake platform digitizes and automates the start of the patient journey, eliminating manual data entry and enhancing accuracy. It supports:

  • Mobile and in-office check-in: Patients can register from home, on the go or at point of service using digital tools, with no app or login required.
  • Comprehensive data capture: The system prompts patients with relevant questions about demographics, insurance coverage, clinical history and health risks, improving data quality.
  • Consent management: Logic-driven consent collection captures HIPAA, financial and clinical signatures at the appropriate time and routes them directly into practice management or EHR systems.
  • Integrated payment initiation: Copays and outstanding balances can be calculated and collected during intake, contributing to faster payment workflows.
  • Enterprise dashboard: Staff can monitor check-ins, manage exceptions, view verification details and access analytics about registrations and payments all from a central interface.

This digital intake experience reduces administrative burden, supports telehealth and in-person workflows, and ensures consistent, accurate information capture across service lines.

Appointments Hub & Scheduling Solutions

Phreesia’s Appointments Hub centralizes scheduling and outreach to improve access and reduce no-shows:

  • Automated reminders: Patients receive appointment reminders via text, email or voice, prompting confirmation or rescheduling to minimize cancellations.
  • Online scheduling: Patients can self-schedule or request appointments directly from their own devices any time, creating a more convenient patient experience.
  • Smart scheduling and workflow management: Customizable scheduling workflows help clinics fill open slots, manage referrals across locations and track appointment status in real time.
  • Analytics: Reporting tools reveal trends in referral sources, appointment requests and scheduling efficiency to inform strategic improvements.

By automating outreach and reducing the phone burden on staff, Appointments Hub helps practices increase utilization and patient engagement at key touchpoints.

Phreesia VoiceAI

Phreesia VoiceAI is an AI-powered conversational voice solution that automates the handling of inbound patient calls. It allows patients to speak naturally while the system:

  • Captures structured information: Patient intents and requests are interpreted and transformed into organized data.
  • Routes data into workflows: Captured information flows directly into staff task queues and electronic health records (EHRs), reducing manual entry and improving response times.

This solution enhances access and responsiveness while easing call volume for front-office teams.

Payments, Eligibility & Revenue Cycle Solutions

Phreesia’s financial tools integrate revenue cycle support into the patient experience:

  • Eligibility & Benefits Verification: Automated, real-time checks confirm coverage, copay, deductible and out-of-pocket amounts, reducing manual payer portal work and helping prevent claim denials.
  • AI-driven copay selection: Smart copay logic factors in payer nuances, visit type and deductible status to surface accurate patient financial responsibility.
  • Digital payment options: Patients can pay via Apple Pay, Google Pay, card on file with autopay, digital statements and flexible payment plans, improving collection rates and financial transparency.
  • Automated billing workflows: Integrated tools streamline billing operations and support higher time-of-service collections by prompting patients to pay during registration and reducing downstream follow-up.

These capabilities help healthcare organizations boost financial performance while minimizing administrative and staff workload.

Clinical Support & Patient-Reported Data

Phreesia’s clinical support tools enhance care delivery by enabling the collection of high-quality patient-reported data:

  • Automated screening and PRO collection: The system administers patient-reported outcomes (PROs) and clinical screening tools digitally, with results delivered in real time to providers.
  • Improved care insights: By aggregating and tracking patient responses, providers can monitor progress toward treatment goals and support tailored care interventions.

This strengthens clinical decision-making and supports whole-person care.

Analytics & Reporting

Phreesia’s analytics suite delivers actionable insights across operational, clinical and financial domains:

  • Performance measurement: Providers can analyze trends in registration, scheduling, payments, surveys, clinical screenings and more.
  • Outcome insights: Real-time data supports goal setting and strategic decision-making by revealing patterns in check-ins, appointments, payment workflows and patient satisfaction.
  • Custom reporting: Configurable reporting tools help practices track key metrics and monitor performance at scale.

These capabilities help organizations optimize workflows, better understand patient behavior and make data-driven improvements.

By organizing its technology around these core functional areas—registration and intake, scheduling, voice automation, financial workflows, clinical engagement and analytics—Phreesia delivers an integrated platform that enhances operational efficiency, supports patient engagement and improves outcomes across the healthcare continuum.
