Tines has appointed Heather Planishek as its new Chief Operating and Financial Officer, overseeing the company’s global operations and finance functions. Planishek brings extensive experience from her previous role as Chief Accounting Officer at Palantir Technologies, where she contributed to the company’s rapid growth and public listing, as well as prior positions at EY and HPE. She joins Tines during a period of significant momentum, following its $125 million Series C funding and $1.125 billion valuation in February, along with the recent launch of full-spectrum automation. The company said her leadership will support smarter scaling and the development of durable systems, enabling confident and agile expansion of operations.
Planishek is already engaging closely with Tines’ teams, asking strategic questions and exploring how to enhance internal processes using the company’s own platform. Reflecting on her early impressions, she remarked, “Why didn’t my teams have this in my last role?” Despite being based in Colorado, she plans to spend significant time working with the team in Ireland. Known for her systems-driven approach, Planishek’s appointment is viewed as a significant step in strengthening Tines’ operational foundations and enhancing its ability to deliver improved outcomes for its customers.
