Anis Bennaceur built Attention to fix a problem he already knew from the inside. In an exclusive interview with The Software Report, Attention Co-Founder and CEO shared how his AI-native platform helps revenue organizations turn fragmented customer interactions into structured, real-time insight. “We do help with sales enablement,” he said, “but we also, and more importantly, help revenue operations teams—sales ops, sales enablement, and also the sales team themselves.”

A self-taught coder by age ten, Bennaceur took an unconventional path: growth at Tinder, founder of a creator network, and eventually operator of a lean, bootstrapped sales team. “That really kind of made me the best possible person to build the business that we’re building today,” he told The Software Report. “You have to force yourself into being as automation-heavy as possible.”

Attention began with one specific goal: get insights from sales calls into the CRM accurately and without manual entry. “We started out with one very simple wedge,” he said. “What is happening in your sales deals, and how do we move that data from your calls into your CRM?” From there, the platform expanded to push insights across more than 400 tools, from Slack to Teams to every major CRM.

While the product supports both real-time and post-call capabilities, most users stick with the latter. “There’s just kind of, you know, information overload when you’re having a conversation,” Bennaceur explained. “All of our users actually leverage the post-call capabilities.”

Now nearing eight figures in annual revenue, Attention serves hundreds of clients, including Scale AI, BambooHR, and Bridge. “About 70% of our clients are tech companies,” he said, with the other 30% coming from insurance companies and other types of businesses.

In a crowded space, Bennaceur says Attention’s edge comes from its technical foundation: the ability to capture, analyze, and route insights across platforms. “We’re the only AI native startup that has the ability to do all of these three things” he said. “We built the most powerful insights engine in the market. A lot of the other players are just… barely getting started.”

For Bennaceur, building the product was only half the challenge; choosing the right people to back it mattered just as much. “For me, it’s just vibes,” he told The Software Report. It’s a simple metric, but one that’s helped him make the right calls on people, partners, and the platform itself.
