Tesla, the U.S. electric vehicle manufacturer, will soon equip its cars with Grok, a generative AI chatbot developed by Elon Musk’s startup, xAI. Musk recently announced via X, “Grok is coming to Tesla vehicles very soon.” Originally launched in 2023 and already integrated with the social media platform X, Grok is expected to function as a voice assistant in Tesla vehicles, aiding with navigation, settings, and answering user queries. The announcement came a day after Musk introduced Grok 4 during a livestream, highlighting its advanced problem-solving capabilities. “Grok 4 is the first time, in my experience, that an AI has been able to solve difficult, real-world engineering questions where the answers cannot be found anywhere on the Internet or in books,” Musk stated on X.
