Sonos, known for its multi-room wireless audio systems, has named Tom Conrad as Chief Executive Officer. Conrad, who has been serving as Interim CEO since January 2025, will also continue his role on the Board of Directors after a thorough executive search. “Following a comprehensive and competitive search, the Board is confident that Tom is the best person to lead Sonos into its next chapter,” said Julius Genachowski, Chair of the Board. Under Conrad’s interim leadership, Sonos improved its software quality, advanced its product pipeline, and introduced key updates to its flagship products, including Sonos Ace and Arc Ultra.
Conrad brings over 30 years of experience in consumer technology, including leadership roles at Snap, Pandora, and, most recently, Zero Longevity Science. “Since the beginning of this year, we’ve reestablished clarity, focus, and momentum at Sonos,” said Conrad. “We’re just getting started. The opportunity in front of us is enormous.” His past accomplishments include building Pandora’s personalized streaming experience and contributing to the development of the Macintosh interface at Apple. Sonos will discuss its third quarter 2025 results on August 6 during a scheduled earnings call and Q&A session.
