Snowflake has appointed company veteran Jonathan Beaulier as Chief Revenue Officer as the cloud data software company reshapes its commercial leadership for its next phase of expansion. Beaulier, known internally as JB, will now oversee Snowflake’s revenue organization and go-to-market teams. He succeeds Mike Gannon, who is leaving the company for personal reasons.

Snowflake Chief Executive Officer Sridhar Ramaswamy said Beaulier has played a major role in the company’s rise over the past decade and is well-positioned to guide the sales organization during a period of rapid change in the AI software market. The company also thanked Gannon for his service and said it expects continuity in its broader commercial strategy.

Beaulier joined Snowflake in its earlier growth years and has held a series of senior sales roles across major accounts and industry verticals. Most recently, he served as group vice president of U.S. majors sales after previously leading sales for financial services and insurance. Beaulier stated, “I am incredibly energized to take on this new role,” citing the company’s AI-focused strategy as a major growth opportunity.
