Smartsheet has appointed Scott Torrey as Chief Revenue Officer. In the role, Torrey will oversee global revenue-generating functions, including direct and partner-led sales, sales operations, customer success, and services. The company said his experience scaling revenue at SAP Concur and supporting market expansion at Payscale aligns with its focus on enterprise adoption and customer engagement.
Torrey previously served as Chief Executive Officer at Payscale and currently sits on multiple boards. Smartsheet said the appointment supports its efforts to scale enterprise adoption of its platform, which integrates people, data, and AI to support complex work. Rajeev Singh, CEO of Smartsheet, said, “Smartsheet is on a growth trajectory, and Scott’s leadership will drive our go-to-market success. He is a customer-first leader who is adept at building enduring relationships globally. His expertise building a high-performing global sales organization will be critical.”
