ServiceNow and Figma have announced a strategic integration that links Figma’s design environment directly with the ServiceNow Build Agent. The partnership allows developers to use a Figma design as a prompt to automatically generate a secure and scalable enterprise application within minutes. Powered by Figma’s Model Context Protocol (MCP) Server, the integration enables the Build Agent to interpret layouts, components, and styles, reducing early UI and data model setup time by more than 80%.
Amy Lokey, ServiceNow’s Chief Experience Officer, said, “By connecting Figma with ServiceNow’s AI-powered workflows, we’re making it effortless for teams to turn ideas into enterprise-ready applications in minutes.” Kris Rasmussen, Figma’s Chief Technology Officer, added that design will remain a key differentiator, noting, “This MCP integration brings important Figma design context directly into ServiceNow’s AI workflows.”
The integration supports a transition from concept to production by enabling teams to manage application creation in an environment that combines design precision with enterprise governance. The system uses OAuth 2.0 authentication, secure server-to-server communication, and ServiceNow’s built-in permissions, audit trails, and version control. Both companies emphasized that the collaboration will help developers, designers, and product teams translate ideas into functional applications more efficiently. The new capabilities are available through the latest ServiceNow Build Agent release via the ServiceNow Store, with customer access provided upon request.
