PwC has unveiled The Human Skills Project, a three-year initiative designed to strengthen the skills that help people and communities thrive alongside rapid advances in technology. The firm aims to contribute 1 million service hours and reach 250,000 learners through mentoring, volunteering, and community programs focused on empathy, creativity, and collaboration. Employees will dedicate 40 hours annually to the initiative, reinforcing PwC’s emphasis on purpose-driven development while supporting workforce resilience across its partner organizations and local communities.

The program will be supported by The PwC Foundation, which has already invested more than $250 million in community grants, and will collaborate with organizations including Taproot Foundation, Year Up United, and Junior Achievement. “We believe human skills—like empathy, creativity, and relationship building—are what will set people apart in an AI-enabled world,” said Yolanda Seals-Coffield, PwC’s Chief People and Inclusion Officer. By combining employee engagement with strategic partnerships, PwC’s new commitment seeks to ensure that technological progress translates into greater opportunity, connection, and long-term social impact.
