Proofpoint, a cybersecurity and compliance company, has appointed Joyce Kim as its Chief Marketing Officer to lead the company’s global marketing and communications strategy. In her role, Kim will oversee brand development, go-to-market execution, and demand acceleration initiatives while reporting directly to CEO Sumit Dhawan. Kim brings extensive marketing leadership experience at technology companies, including her most recent role as CMO at Zscaler, as well as prior positions at Twilio, Genesys, Wrike, Arm, Google, and Microsoft. Proofpoint said her expertise will help the company scale its marketing operations and reinforce its position in the cybersecurity market.
