The move signals the company’s effort to elevate cybersecurity oversight at the executive level as the combined platform serves thousands of organizations globally. Cox highlighted Liebert’s background in both public and private sectors, stating, “Peter brings exactly the depth of experience and caliber of leadership that a company at our stage and scale demands.” He added that Liebert’s leadership will help establish a security program that protects data integrity while maintaining customer trust.

Liebert brings more than 26 years of professional experience, including 15 years dedicated to cybersecurity leadership. Most recently, he served as Vice President of Cybersecurity at Vista Equity Partners, where he helped oversee cyber risk across nearly $100 billion in SaaS assets. Earlier, he worked as CISO for the State of California, managing security across critical infrastructure and public-sector systems.

Commenting on the role, Liebert said, “What drew me to this role is the opportunity to shape security at a pivotal moment for the combined company,” emphasizing plans to build a program focused on transparency, partnership, and continuous improvement.
