Paycom Software, a provider of cloud-based human capital management solutions, announced leadership changes, highlighting its focus on automation and technology-driven growth. Shane Hadlock, who currently serves as Chief Client Officer, has been appointed Chief Technology Officer and will oversee Paycom’s IT operations while continuing to lead client services.

CEO Chad Richison praised Hadlock’s impact, stating, “Shane’s exceptional client-centric approach, combined with his systems expertise, has made him an invaluable asset to our organization.” Hadlock, who brings more than 30 years of technology experience and has spent nearly 14 years at Paycom in senior IT roles, emphasized his continued focus on “delivering full-solution automation and world-class service.”

The company also promoted Rachael Gannon to Chief Automation Officer, where she will lead Paycom’s software department and guide product strategy to expand automation capabilities. Gannon, who joined Paycom in 2013, most recently served as Executive Vice President of Product and Development. “Rachael is naturally expanding her role to continue automating our product offerings,” Richison said, noting her record of driving client value. 

Additionally, Brad Smith, Paycom’s former CIO, has transitioned to Senior Technical Strategist after two decades at the company. “The new leadership team is poised to continue to do great things,” Smith remarked. These appointments strengthen Paycom’s commitment to advancing AI-driven HR and payroll solutions.
