The expanded collaboration combines Google Cloud’s AI and infrastructure services with Palo Alto Networks’ Prisma AIRS platform to secure AI workloads, applications, and data across hybrid and multicloud environments. The move responds to rising enterprise demand for AI-ready cloud infrastructure, as Palo Alto Networks’ State of Cloud Report found that nearly all organizations experienced at least one attack on AI infrastructure in the past year.

Under the agreement, customers will gain end-to-end AI security from code to cloud, AI-driven software firewalls, deeper SASE integration, and a more unified security experience across Google Cloud services such as Vertex AI. BJ Jenkins, President of Palo Alto Networks, stated, “Together with Google, we are embedding our AI-powered security deep into the Google Cloud fabric, turning the platform itself into a proactive defense system.” Matt Renner, President and Chief Revenue Officer of Google Cloud, added, “This latest expansion will ensure our joint customers can secure critical AI infrastructure and develop new AI agents with security built in from the start.”
