OpenText Corporation has appointed George Schindler to its Board of Directors. Schindler previously served as President and Chief Executive Officer of CGI from 2016 to 2024 and remains on CGI’s Board. During his tenure as CEO, he led CGI’s profitable growth strategy, strengthening its position among the world’s foremost IT consulting and business services firms. Before becoming CEO, Schindler held several senior leadership roles at CGI, serving as President and Chief Operating Officer as well as President of U.S. and Canada Operations.
