Dynatrace has announced a new integration with Microsoft’s Azure SRE Agent, the company’s AI-based reliability assistant that continuously monitors Azure resources. The integration brings Dynatrace’s real-time root cause analysis into the Azure portal, combining it with Azure SRE’s detailed system intelligence to help teams diagnose and resolve complex issues across cloud environments more efficiently.
According to Microsoft’s VP, Product Management of Core AI & Engineering, Scott Hunter, “The AI capabilities jointly delivered by Dynatrace and Microsoft take our customers one step closer to driving autonomous operations across their complex environments,” giving teams more time to pursue new initiatives.
The companies aim for a joint approach to strengthen incident prevention and substantially reduce repair cycles by merging contextual observability data with Azure telemetry. It also introduces automated workflows, runbook actions, and early failure detection capabilities to improve service reliability. Dynatrace Chief Product Officer Steve Tack said enterprises need “AI that acts,” adding that the collaboration supports automated remediation at scale across the Microsoft ecosystem.
