Match Group has named Spencer Rascoff as its new Chief Executive Officer. Rascoff, who joined the company’s Board in March 2024, takes over from Bernard Kim, who is stepping down from both the CEO position and the Board. Rascoff brings more than two decades of experience in building and leading consumer technology companies. He previously served as CEO of Zillow Group, where he played a key role in growing the company’s scale and market presence. He also co-founded Hotwire, an innovative online travel platform, as well as Pacaso, a proptech firm transforming the way people buy and own second homes. And has invested in and advised various tech firms spanning marketplaces, media, and artificial intelligence.

Rascoff holds a degree from Harvard University and has served on the boards of several public and private companies, including Palantir and TripAdvisor. Match Group’s Chairman Tom McInerney expressed confidence in Rascoff’s leadership and thanked Kim for his contributions during his tenure. Rascoff steps in as Match Group continues to focus on AI-based product development and user experience improvements across its portfolio, which includes Tinder, Hinge, OkCupid, and Pairs. He expressed, “I look forward to working with our teams to foster a culture that embraces creativity and continuous innovation, ensuring we continue to shape the future of dating and relationships.”
