K1 Investment Management has completed its acquisition of MariaDB plc, securing 100% of the enterprise database solutions provider’s shares. As part of the acquisition, MariaDB also announced the appointment of Rohit de Souza as CEO, succeeding Paul O’Brien, who will remain as an advisor. De Souza brings significant leadership experience from his previous roles at Actian and Micro Focus.
