Lumen Technologies has announced the appointment of Jeff Sharritts as Executive Vice President and Chief Revenue Officer. Reporting to Chief Executive Officer Kate Johnson, Sharritts will lead the company’s commercial strategy, including oversight of the Acceleration and Growth Team, with responsibility for strengthening customer engagement and delivering sustainable revenue expansion. He succeeds Ashley Haynes-Gaspar, who the company said built key commercial programs that now provide a platform for the next stage of growth.
Commenting on the appointment, Kate Johnson stated, “The next phase of our transformation will require commercial focus, execution, and scale,” adding that Sharritts’ experience will help accelerate progress as the company scales its network capabilities. Sharritts joins Lumen after more than two decades at Cisco, most recently as Executive Vice President and Chief Customer and Partner Officer, where he directed worldwide sales, partnerships, and customer experience.
During his tenure, Cisco increased its focus on software and subscription revenue while generating more than $50 billion annually. He holds a business administration degree from The Ohio State University and serves as an Independent Director at Mueller Water Products.
