DDN has appointed Kevin Delane as President and Chief Revenue Officer, a strategic move aimed at scaling the company’s global go-to-market engine as it prepares for a potential IPO. Delane will lead global revenue strategy, marketing, and customer success as DDN transitions from experimental AI support to powering large-scale, production-grade “AI factories.”
Delane brings a high-profile pedigree to DDN, having previously helped scale Pure Storage (EverPure) past the $2 billion revenue mark. His three-decade career also includes senior leadership roles at Cohesity and Own (recently acquired by Salesforce), where he specialized in building repeatable revenue models and expanding enterprise accounts.
According to CEO Alex Bouzari, Delane’s operational discipline is critical as DDN deepens its infrastructure partnership with NVIDIA and other ecosystem leaders. His appointment follows the recent addition of Guido Torrini as CFO and COO, signaling a significant strengthening of the executive team. Delane noted that the industry is currently undergoing a “once-in-a-generation” shift toward data-centric AI infrastructure, positioning DDN at the center of mission-critical enterprise deployments.
