Cognizant has announced that it is deploying Anthropic’s Claude models to help clients accelerate AI adoption and achieve results at scale. The collaboration aligns Cognizant’s engineering platforms and industry frameworks with Claude for Enterprise, Claude Code, the Model Context Protocol, and Anthropic’s Agent SDK. By linking Claude to client systems, Cognizant aims to speed the move from pilots to production and improve oversight across governance, performance, and costs. Inside the company, Claude will be introduced to corporate and engineering teams to raise productivity and AI fluency.
Cognizant CEO Ravi Kumar S said the partnership will support a future “where intelligent systems collaborate with people to accelerate modernization, engineering and industry transformation.” The alliance will initially target software engineering efficiency, legacy modernization, multi-agent design, vertical industry applications starting with financial services, and responsible AI operations. Paul Smith, Anthropic’s Chief Commercial Officer, noted, “The combination of frontier AI with deep domain expertise and implementation capabilities is what makes this partnership so exciting and will absolutely accelerate AI in the enterprise.”
