Anthropic has raised $30 billion in Series G funding, valuing the company at $380 billion post-money, in a round led by GIC and Coatue, with participation from D. E. Shaw Ventures, Dragoneer, Founders Fund, ICONIQ, MGX, and others, including previously announced investments from Microsoft and NVIDIA. The company said it will use the capital to expand research, product development, and infrastructure.
Anthropic reported $14 billion in run-rate revenue, growing more than tenfold annually over the past three years. Customers spending over $100,000 annually have increased sevenfold in the past year. Eight of the Fortune 10 now use its AI system, Claude. Anthropic’s Chief Financial Officer Krishna Rao said, “Claude is increasingly becoming critical to how businesses work,” adding that the funding reflects strong enterprise demand. Coatue Founder Philippe Laffont noted the company’s rapid scaling positions it strongly within the AI market.
Anthropic’s Claude Code has surpassed $2.5 billion in run-rate revenue, with enterprise usage accounting for more than half of that total. The company also continues to expand cloud availability across Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud, and Microsoft Azure, while investing in diversified AI hardware infrastructure.
