Under the agreement, AMD will invest $150 million in Nutanix common stock at $36.26 per share and provide up to $100 million to fund joint engineering and go-to-market initiatives. The investment is expected to close in the second quarter of 2026, pending regulatory approvals. The first jointly developed platform is scheduled for release in late 2026.

The collaboration integrates AMD EPYC CPUs, AMD Instinct GPUs, and the ROCm software ecosystem into Nutanix’s enterprise AI stack to provide high-performance inference acceleration and unified lifecycle management. Dan McNamara, Senior Vice President and General Manager of Compute and Enterprise AI at AMD, said, “Enterprise customers need the freedom to run the models and workloads that matter most to their business, without compromise.” Tarkan Maner, President and Chief Commercial Officer at Nutanix, added, “Together, we are delivering full-stack, integrated platforms optimized for inference and agentic applications across hybrid environments.”
