Adobe has recently introduced the CX Enterprise Coworker, an agentic AI solution designed to move marketing from static campaign execution to autonomous, goal-oriented engagement. By synthesizing data across the Adobe Experience Platform, including Real-Time CDP and Journey Optimizer, the tool can monitor real-time signals and execute cross-channel experiences without manual intervention. The “coworker” is built to function as a persistent intelligence layer that bridges the gap between high-level insights and immediate action.
The new offering is notable for its open architecture, utilizing the Model Context Protocol (MCP) and Agent2Agent (A2A) standards to ensure it can operate within diverse technology stacks. This flexibility also allows the CX Enterprise Coworker to pull data and execute actions across third-party AI platforms from OpenAI, Microsoft, and Google Cloud. Furthermore, a strategic partnership with NVIDIA integrates the OpenShell secure runtime, providing a governance layer that allows regulated industries to deploy autonomous agents while meeting strict security requirements.
To deepen the intelligence available to these agents, Adobe also launched Engagement Intelligence, a decisioning engine focused on maximizing customer lifetime value, and expanded its Real-Time CDP profiles to incorporate unstructured data. These additions provide the CX Enterprise Coworker with a richer understanding of customer behavior, allowing it to navigate fragmented systems to coordinate loyalty programs and gamified experiences. The solution is expected to reach general availability in the coming months.
