NVIDIA and Marvell Technology have entered a strategic partnership to expand AI infrastructure capabilities through NVIDIA’s NVLink Fusion platform. The collaboration enables Marvell to integrate its custom XPUs and networking technologies into NVIDIA’s AI ecosystem, offering customers greater flexibility in building next-generation computing systems. NVIDIA has also invested $2 billion in Marvell, reinforcing the partnership as demand grows for high-performance AI infrastructure.
The companies will jointly support the development of scalable systems that integrate GPUs, networking, and storage technologies, while also collaborating on silicon photonics and advanced optical interconnect solutions. The partnership further extends to telecom networks, where both companies aim to support AI-driven 5G and 6G systems using NVIDIA Aerial AI-RAN.
“The inference inflection has arrived. Token generation demand is surging, and the world is racing to build AI factories. Together with Marvell, we are enabling customers to leverage NVIDIA’s AI infrastructure ecosystem and scale to build specialized AI compute,” said Jensen Huang, Founder and CEO of NVIDIA. Marvell CEO Matt Murphy added that the collaboration reflects the rising need for faster connectivity and efficient infrastructure.
