Meta has announced a multi-year strategic agreement with NVIDIA to advance its long-term AI infrastructure plans. The collaboration will deploy large-scale NVIDIA technologies across Meta’s data centers to support training and inference workloads while improving performance efficiency. The companies will co-design computing systems across processors, networking, and software to handle personalization and recommendation services.
Jensen Huang, Founder and CEO of NVIDIA, said, “No one deploys AI at Meta’s scale — integrating frontier research with industrial-scale infrastructure,” adding the partnership brings the full NVIDIA platform to Meta engineers building the next generation of AI systems. As part of the arrangement, Meta will adopt confidential computing features to enable AI functions within WhatsApp while protecting user data and deploy Spectrum-X networking for low-latency performance across its infrastructure.
Engineering teams will also optimize advanced models to improve efficiency and reliability across applications. Mark Zuckerberg, Founder and CEO of Meta, stated, “We’re excited to expand our partnership with NVIDIA to build leading-edge clusters using their Vera Rubin platform to deliver personal superintelligence to everyone in the world.”
