Veeam Software has announced three senior leadership appointments aimed at supporting its next phase of expansion and product development. Brandt Urban has been promoted to Chief Business Development Officer, Tony Colon has joined as Chief Customer Officer, and Michael Rau has been named Vice President of Worldwide Partners.
Chief Executive Officer Anand Eswaran said the appointments come at a critical moment for the company and the broader data ecosystem. “We’re entering a new era for data, one that combines the need for data resilience with security, and the ability to unleash the value of that data for AI,” Eswaran said, adding that the new leaders bring experience and perspective to help sustain and accelerate growth while keeping customers and partners central to the company’s strategy.
Urban will oversee corporate development, mergers and acquisitions, strategic partnerships, and corporate strategy, building on his previous role leading worldwide cloud sales. Colon will manage the full customer lifecycle, including renewals, customer success, professional services, and technical support, drawing on more than two decades of experience at companies such as ServiceNow, Cisco, and Salesforce. Rau will lead Veeam’s global partner organization, managing alliances across hardware, software, and services providers.
