The partnership focuses on reducing development cycles, improving consistency, and delivering measurable business outcomes by supporting disciplined, production-grade use of AI in software engineering. EPAM will apply its global network of more than 50,000 engineers, along with maturity models, curated rulesets, training, and productivity measurement, to help clients transition from traditional development practices to AI-first operating models.

Dmitry Tovpeko, Vice President of AI-Native Engineering at EPAM, said, “While most large enterprises have made some investment in AI coding tools, many teams struggle with full adoption and daily use.” He added that Cursor’s approach integrates rules, workflows, and agent-driven behavior directly into developers’ primary work environments. Michael Scherr, Head of Business Development at Cursor, noted, “The teams that achieve exceptional results are those that rethink how they work, not just the tools they use.”
