Workday has launched a new Custom AI Model Library for its Contract Intelligence Agent, expanding its automation capabilities across HR, finance, legal, and IT workflows. Developed in collaboration with Evisort, the library introduces more than 120 pre-built AI models designed to identify key clauses, terms, and risks in contracts. These models enable organizations to review documents faster, detect potential issues earlier, and reduce manual review time. Users can deploy the models immediately or refine them through feedback without requiring coding expertise, allowing teams to tailor contract analysis to their specific needs.
According to Jerry Ting, Vice President and Head of Agentic AI & Evisort at Workday, the release represents a shift from incremental automation to practical intelligence that simplifies complex legal and financial processes. The new models can summarize non-compete clauses, extract payment schedules, flag data privacy terms, and even interpret lease details—transforming dense legal language into actionable insights. By combining automation with accessibility, Workday aims to make large-scale contract management faster, more transparent, and easier to integrate into enterprise systems.
