IBM has announced a definitive agreement to acquire Cognitus, an SAP S/4HANA services provider with specialized AI solutions. Headquartered in Dallas, Cognitus has over two decades of SAP experience and a portfolio of SAP-endorsed software assets supporting industries such as aerospace, defense, manufacturing, and utilities.

The acquisition will enhance IBM’s ability to deliver RISE and GROW with SAP programs and expand its AI-powered enterprise services. Cognitus’ proprietary tools, including its AI-based contract lifecycle management and real-time billing solutions, are designed to simplify SAP implementations, accelerate decision-making, and strengthen compliance across complex and regulated industries.
