GitLab, a DevSecOps platform, announced the appointments of Manav Khurana as Chief Product and Marketing Officer and Manu Narayan as Chief Information Officer. Khurana will oversee product, design, and marketing, focusing on AI-driven innovation and product-led growth. He previously held senior leadership roles at New Relic, Twilio, Aruba HPE, and Motorola, and holds degrees from the University of Rochester and Santa Clara University.
“AI has dramatically accelerated individual developer productivity, but has also created new organizational challenges around security, testing, and code quality,” Khurana said. “I believe GitLab is uniquely positioned to solve this problem with its proven platform for modernizing software development, operations, and security.”
Narayan will lead GitLab’s enterprise technology, data infrastructure, and internal AI strategy, while driving systems and process transformation to support the company’s growth. He joins from Confluent, where he guided business technology initiatives, and has also held leadership roles at BlackLine, Applied Minds, and CIM.
A UCLA graduate, Narayan emphasized his commitment to advancing GitLab’s mission, stating, “I am passionate about how technology can be a true force multiplier for organizations, and I look forward to helping drive system and process transformation that supports GitLab’s continued growth.”
