UKG, a provider of HR, payroll, and workforce management solutions, has announced the appointment of Jim Joudrey as Chief Technology Officer to oversee its global engineering and cloud organization of more than 4,000 employees. Joudrey, who will join the executive leadership team and report to CEO Jennifer Morgan, brings over 20 years of experience in technology leadership.
He most recently served as Vice President of Digital Acceleration at Amazon, where he led digital commerce initiatives across more than 40 business units, including Prime, Prime Video, and Audible. His earlier roles include Senior Vice President of Analytics Cloud Engineering at Salesforce, where he guided Tableau’s migration to the cloud, and a decade at Amazon in infrastructure, marketplace, and supply chain leadership roles within AWS.
As CTO, Joudrey will guide UKG’s technology vision, advancing its AI-first platform used by more than 80,000 organizations across 150 countries, including two-thirds of Fortune 1000 companies.
“Jim is a transformational technology leader with a track record of turning bold ideas into products that deliver results for customers,” said Jennifer Morgan, CEO of UKG. In his first remarks, Joudrey noted, “What drew me to UKG is the opportunity to build category leading products that help organizations of all sizes empower their employees and optimize their operations.” He succeeds Sri Srinivasan, who has served as interim CTO since 2023.
