Persistent Systems, a digital engineering and enterprise modernization company, has announced key leadership changes to strengthen its operational capabilities and accelerate growth. Chief Operating Officer Dhanashree Bhat has stepped down from his responsibilities to pursue external opportunities.
Jaideep Dhok, currently Senior Vice President – Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI), has taken on the role of Chief Operating Officer – Technology. With 23 years of experience, including over 14 years at Persistent, Dhok has led major transformation programs, expanded the BFSI segment, and contributed to the company’s AI strategy.
CEO Sandeep Kalra said, “We are pleased to welcome Jaideep to his new role as Chief Operating Officer – Technology. His strong technology background, coupled with execution focus and deep understanding of our business, will help us scale with agility as we look to pivot our company on the AI-led, platform-driven strategy.” As part of the transition, Chief Financial Officer and Executive Director Vinit Teredesai will expand his portfolio to include IT and ESG, alongside existing responsibilities in corporate finance, risk management, and investor relations. Persistent stated that the reorganization aligns with its strategic priorities and focuses on long-term transformation.
