Anaconda, a company focused on advancing AI with open source at scale, has raised over $150 million in a Series C funding round led by Insight Partners, with participation from Mubadala Capital. Operating profitably with more than $150 million in annual recurring revenue as of July 2025, Anaconda serves over 50 million users and has recorded more than 21 billion downloads since its founding in 2012. Trusted by 95% of Fortune 500 companies and over 10,000 large enterprises, the company recently launched the Anaconda AI Platform and entered into a partnership with Databricks. The funding comes as enterprises shift from isolated data science projects to compound AI applications. “As enterprises move from specialized data science to generalized AI systems, we believe Anaconda is incredibly well-positioned for this generational shift,” said George Mathew, Managing Director at Insight Partners.
